Why use a fabric booty band?
The posterior chain is one of, if not THE most important muscle groups when it comes to athletic performance.
Most training schedules have people training muscles in isolation, as opposed to having muscle groups working as a unit. An example of this would be individuals training quads separately to hamstrings. This can lead to other muscles compensating for weaker or lagging muscles that are part of the chain, resulting in an increased risk of injury.
Incorporating fabric booty band will help you to get the posterior chain activated and firing as a unit. If you incorporate the fabric booty band in to your normal leg day routine will feel a noticeable different. On a squat, you will feel your glutes and hamstrings firing, and working to drive the weight up, this not only creates a healthier posterior chain, but helps to increase your lifts too!
Powerstride recognise the need for athletes to perform more compound movements in an efficient way in order to recover from injury and even grow a muscle group, any muscle group. Our bands are easy to store, great quality with a strong resistance and have two non-slip strips inside to stop them moving around as you use them.
